Narkootikumide mittetarvitamine rangelt keelatud! | NO use of any kind of drugs in this premises strictly forbidden |
Pühapäeval tegime perega rannatiiru Kokrobitel. Seadsime, end sisse Big Millyses, kus laval parasjagu kohalik reggae band.
Enne lahkumist klõpsasin pildi mind juba aastaid naerutanud sildist, mis Big Millises ikka muutmata: “NO use of any kind of drugs in this premises strictly forbidden” Millelt võib välja lugeda, et narkootikumide mittetarvitamine antud valdustes on rangelt keelatud 🙂 Eks – ole rastameeste koht. IRW 🙂 |
Thhis Sunday we made a beach-trip to Kokrobite. We entered Big Millys where local reggae group was performing. While they were performing some of the group members were going around with a basket collecting donations. We did not mind them as we had gone to the place to eat. Its actually quite common here that musical groups or performers come on stage but instead of charging the owners of the premises they collect donations from visitors. Later, when we had finished our lobsters we went to sit down closer to the band and my son step by step approached the stage to check out what’s happening. One of the group members brought him a drum and he could try making music with the band. After having found out whats the deal with drums he ran back to us. Few mites later my husband placed a 20cedi bill on top of the drum. Group members were cheering and thankin as normally donations are around 1-2cedis. For our surprised the song the played on the moment of receiving our donation remained their last for this day. They wrapped up and left. So, if you actually like the perfomance on the stage – you might want to wait until you are about to leave before getting generoous. As band might feel that the amount received is good enough and will stop work for that day 🙂 Before we set to go home I snapped a photo of a sign I have been laughing about for years: “NO use of any kind of drugs in this premises strictly forbidden” |
